Overseas Immersion Programme
Nurturing Potential, Beyond the Classroom
At Changemakers Explorer, we believe that the best learning happens through real-world experiences. Our Overseas Immersion Programme is a signature part of our curriculum, designed to broaden children’s horizons and help them grow into confident, globally minded individuals. By taking our inquiry-based learning on the road, we turn new environments into exciting spaces for hands-on discovery.
Through a balanced combination of real-world discovery, academic partnerships, and native language environments, this programme intentionally nurtures the five core Changemakers Explorer Learner Profiles.

Highlights From Our Latest Journey: Beijing
Want to see how our global curriculum comes to life? Take a quick look at the highlights from our inaugural immersion trip to Beijing.

The Immersion Experience
Our little explorers kicked off their journey by stepping straight into the shoes of Beijing preschoolers! Over a signature 4.5-day immersion session at the renowned 丰台一幼 Fengtai First Kindergarten (东大街), the children adapted beautifully to new routines, participated in morning exercises, and built wonderful core memories alongside local buddies.
In-Classroom STEM & Play
Learning was both playful and deeply engaging inside the classroom. The children tackled hands-on challenges by coding Xiaobei Robots to solve physical obstacles, and explored early engineering concepts like balance and arch structures using award-winning Tarata Blocks. Every session was designed to build patience, logic, and coordination.

Language & Cultural Discovery
From standing atop the majestic Great Wall to riding rickshaws through historic Shichahai, culture was felt firsthand. Surrounded by a native-speaking environment, the children naturally practiced their Chinese, whether naming a “北极熊” (polar bear) at the Beijing Zoo, or practicing fine-motor skills during traditional paper-cutting (剪纸) and Zanhua flower pinning art.
