Symphonic Learning™
An interdisciplinary approach approach for 0 – 6 year old children that integrates play, Science, Arts, and Language, helping them explore concepts through inquiry and projects.
Interdisciplinary Learning

Who takes care of the penguins, and how? 🐧
As part of our children’s inquiry-based project into "How do zookeepers care for penguins?", our little Changemakers Explorer headed to Penguin Cove to observe penguins up close in their habitat.
They watched zookeepers care for the penguins through feeding enrichment, including hand feeding and water feeding, as well as observed how the penguins moved, interacted with one another. With their Penguin Adventure Booklets in hand, they documented their observations, reflected on their discoveries, and uncovered how food and habitat all play a part in keeping penguins healthy and happy.
Through authentic experiences like these, learning becomes more than knowledge, it ignites curiosity, inquiry, and a deeper appreciation for the world around them. What happens when our little Changemakers Explorer become reporters for the day? 🎤🌏
Armed with their biggest smiles (and plenty of curiosity!), our children sat down with their Beijing buddies to ask about their favourite activities, the new friends they made, what they learned about Singapore`s different cultures, and whether they`d like to visit again.
Through these heartfelt conversations, they discovered that even though they come from different countries, friendship is built through asking questions, sharing experiences and learning from one another.
At Changemakers Explorer, every conversation is an opportunity to learn. Through our Overseas Immersion Programme, children develop the confidence to communicate, embrace new cultures and form meaningful friendships that broaden their understanding of the world.

Our children from Changemakers Explorer at One Marina Boulevard marked this special occasion with their very own mini National Day Parade around school! Each class dressed up as everyday heroes who have shaped and served our nation, from the Singapore Army, Airforce and Navy, to SCDF and everyday Singaporeans who keep our community running.
It was a day filled with pride, imagination and gratitude, as our children learned to appreciate the people around them who make Singapore a safe and happy place to grow up in. ✨

As our Beijing friends` visit comes to an end, we`re taking a moment to relive the memories made over the past few days! 🥹🌏
From getting to know one another on day one, to bonding over music and movement, drama and storytelling, and hands-on play, our little Changemakers Explorer and their friends from 丰台一幼 Fengtai First Kindergarten showed us what true cultural exchange looks like: curiosity, warmth and friendship that needed no translation.

As part of our Overseas Immersion Programme, our little Changemakers Explorer participated in one of the outdoor activities that children in Beijing regularly enjoy as part of their preschool experience.
Playing alongside their local buddies, they explored new games, collaborated through physical challenges and experienced how learning through movement brings children together regardless of language or background. Their Beijing buddies also taught them how to jump rope too! 🤭
