Symphonic Learning™
A NEW multidisciplinary approach for 0 – 6 year old children that integrates play, Science, Arts, and Language, helping them explore concepts through inquiry and projects.
Interdisciplinary Learning

What better way to celebrate Racial Harmony than by experiencing it together with our friends from Beijing? 🌏
In celebration of this year`s Racial Harmony Day theme, "Many Cultures, One Singapore," our little Changemakers Explorer invited their Beijing friends to experience Singapore`s multicultural heritage through meaningful, hands-on activities.
From learning greetings in different languages and exploring traditional dances to experiencing local games, drama activities and cultural traditions, every moment became an opportunity to exchange stories, ask questions and learn from one another.

What happens when water gets dirty? Our little Changemakers Explorers rolled up their sleeves to investigate!
From identifying dirt particles like leaves and roots to understanding why clean water keeps our bodies (and our plants!) healthy, this lesson was all about real-world discovery.
Building their filters layer by layer taught them the fundamentals of cause and effect, sorting materials and recording scientific findings. As they experimented with rocks, pebbles, sand, charcoal and cotton, they discovered that different materials play different roles in cleaning water. Larger materials help catch bigger pieces of dirt first, while finer materials trap smaller particles, making the water cleaner as it passes through each layer. Through hands-on exploration, our young learners uncovered how a simple filtration system works.

Welcoming our Beijing friends from 丰台一幼 Fengtai First Kindergarten to Singapore! 🥳
After experiencing learning in Beijing during our Overseas Immersion Programme, it`s now our turn to host our friends in the next chapter of our cultural exchange journey.
Over the next few days, children from both preschools will learn, play and grow together through experiences designed to deepen friendships, broaden perspectives and discover Singapore together. From exploring Singapore`s multicultural heritage to participating in bilingual activities, drama experiences and collaborative play, they`ll broaden their perspectives, build meaningful friendships and gain a deeper appreciation of different cultures through authentic, shared experiences. 🌏✨

One of the moments that stood out most to Parent Gradys was watching Lukka learn through real-world experiences during the Beijing Overseas Immersion Programme. From taking part in cultural activities and connecting with children from different backgrounds to discovering how technology can be meaningfully integrated into learning. Together, these experiences ignited our little Changemakers Explorer`s curiosity and showed him that learning can happen anywhere. ✨

At our Yarn Wrapping Zone, children explored colours, textures and different wrapping techniques as they transformed simple materials into creations inspired by their own ideas. They experimented with different approaches like yarn weaving, refined their techniques and confidently expressed their creativity while developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Our learning landscapes are intentionally designed to encourage children to explore independently, think creatively and build confidence through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

What better way to learn a language than from a friend in Beijing? 💬🌏
As our little Changemakers Explorer spent time with their local buddies in Beijing, they naturally became each other`s teachers. Curious questions like ""What do you call this in English?"" and ""How do you say it in Chinese?"" ignite meaningful conversations as the children exchanged everyday vocabulary, shared their knowledge and learned from one another through play and interaction.
These authentic moments of cultural exchange helped the children build confidence, curiosity and a deeper appreciation of language beyond textbooks and the classroom. ✨

Can shadows tell a story? 💡🎭
After weeks of investigating how light, shadows and movement work together, the children had the opportunity to learn from a shadow play professional. As they observed a live performance, they asked questions, tested their ideas and discovered how every movement, light source and puppet plays a role in bringing stories to life.
Inspired by what they learned, the children collaborated to create their own script, refine their puppet designs and stage their very own shadow play performance. At Changemakers Explorer, inquiry doesn`t end with finding answers. It encourages children to keep questioning, experimenting and transforming their ideas into meaningful experiences. ✨
